| Access: | Motorway Blanc to Chamonix. Get out of the motorway at the hight of Cluses and take road D902 following the indications to Taninges. Continue along road D902 for some 7 km to reach Le Pont des Gets. Once there take deviation to Les Praz de Lys on road D328. Drive along this road for some 10 km after Pont des Gets, passing by Les Praz de Lyz to arrive to "Col de la Ramaz". Park near the Chairlift "Pierre Rouge". Driving time from ValThoiry: 1h30. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
