This 2nd trip in the preparation for the long weekend at the end of July (3.5 days) reaches almost 2800 m and is 12.5 km long. If, as usual, we miss the telepherique in our way back (the last one leaves at 16h30) the length of the trip is 15 km and its duration of some 10 hours. It is a good trial for hardning and strengthening. The second part after the Lac Blanc is outside a well defined path and most of it develops over snow. Be careful on the snow borders since the risk of holes is high. The "Col du Belvedere" is easy to identify. In this trip we will take the telepherique de La Flegere (12 euro two ways trip). It will take us up to 1880 m from where we will start our hiking to the Col du Belvedere. Here is my proposal:

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
