At least we are going to start the outings of this session. I am sorry for this late start I was busy with other matters. My proposal for this weekend is part of the beginning-of-the-session training and, therefore, does not require any special preparation or technical skill. Here is my proposal:

Access: | Motorway direction to Chamonix. Take out in Bonneville. Take route D12 to St. Jean-de-Sixt and then D4 to le Grand-Bornand. 5 km after we arrive to Le Chinaillon. Continue for about 0.5 km and then take route to the left to the parking of Samance. Park there. Driving time from CERN: 1h30 |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm globes, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
