Increasing slightly the length and the difficulty and also moving to a different zone, I have thought on a inedit one. Here is my proposal for this coming weekend:

| Starting point: | Alex - Villards-dessus (848 m) |
| Meeting point: | CERN Cafeteria (Main building) at 8.30 am |
| Remarks: | Impresive views over the Lake of Annecy |
| Access: | From Annecy-Le-Vieux take road D5 and in the site "sur les bois" take the road to the right hand D16 that drives to the village of Alex. The river Fier will always be at your left hand side. From Alex take small road to the south which drives to Villards dessous and the to villards dessus. Continue for about 1 km to the parking. Driving time: 1.30 hours. Alternative: From La Clusaz continue along road D909 to Alex.

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
