Last Sunday we had to modify the goal of the excursion and go to the col de coux instead of a la tete de Botan. The 1st part of the foreseen trip to la tete de Botan was too dangerous due to the slipery rocks. This weekend, I hope, will be dryer and, therefore, safer to re-try it. If wheather is still wet we will try it from the Col de la Golese that does not offer difficulty.

| Access: | Motorway to Cluses. There take D902 to Montriond- Morzine pasing by Les Gets. In Morzine turn right to the Church and take road along the riverside (valle de la manche) passing by la Memaz, la Grangette, la boucherie, le Cret, le Provion, Mouille de la Manche, les Allamands, Erigne derriere and Erigne devant and, finally Charny (6 km from Morzine). 1.5 Km after Charny taking a small road to the right (opposite to Mines d'Or) we arrive to the parking of Chardonniere. The trip may take about 1 hour 30 minutes. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption.
