The weather prediction for this weekend are rather good. They have promised a sunny day. I propose, therefore, that we take the risk and try to give satisfaction to the participants of our last one who claimed for longer and longer paths. I propose for this Sunday a more demanding one while still in line with our begining of the session training. However, one should be warned and think that the probability of finding snow above 1500 m is 100%. Therefore, the right water-proof boots and any other water-proof and warm clothes are more than advisable. My proposal for excursion 16 (this Sunday) is the following:

| Access: | Take motorway to Chamonix and once there take N506 in direction to l'Argentiere. Litle after "Les Praz de Chamonix turn to the right to "Les Bois". Park there. The trip from CERN to Les Bois should take around 1h 30m. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
