Weather prediction for this weekend is excellent! therefore, I propose to recover the so long ago proposed Autumn excursion to the Jura. I hope that a few leaves will still remain on the trees and that the colourful forest and the sunny sunday will touch the sensitive souls of "most" of you. Here is my proposal for this Sunday:

| Access: | Menthieres in mountain/skiing center nearby Confort village. To reach this point one should take the road CD 991 from Bellegarde to Confort. One km before arriving in Confort take the first road (CD 16) to the right hand side till the mountain center. There are enough parking places for cars. The trip from CERN to "Comfort" will take about 1h 15m. |

It is convenient to emphasize some useful items: please do not forget to carry on (wear) raincoat, hat/cap and sun glasses, warm gloves, hiking boots or sport-footwear with thick and non-slipping sole, enough food and drinks for the own consumption. Spear dry clothes and after excursion confortable shoes are very convenient.
